The precondition of such a vision is a modified perspective on man, especially on the body., The body must be abandoned as a place of nature and, at least in principle, transformed into a place of technology and information. Transhumanists and posthumanists disregard mans physico-mental unity, which H. Plessner calls »Körperleib«, and conceal that man not only owns a body of flesh (»Körper«) but that he is a physico-mental unit (»Leib«). In contrast, accepting mans physico-mental unity (»Leiblichkeit«), the author advocates a humanism of the other.
