Technische Entscheidungen im Krankenhaus der Zukunft? Eine ethische Reflexion
Robots are becoming more autonomous, artificially intelligent, and social. They are already used outside of production and conquer new areas of application also those that are closer to the people. In hospitals, robots are found in surgery; first prototypes for other applications have been developed. They partly replace actions that were previously performed by people. Is this ethically acceptable? This article starts by embedding ethical reflection on robotics in the interdisciplinary context. Subsequently, specific issues of replaceability are discussed using case studies.
